If you are currently working in the Queensland building and construction industry and want to build your skills, you may be eligible for CSQ funded training if you meet the funding criteria.
How does funding work?
CSQ contributes towards the cost of courses.
CSQ funding is paid directly to the contracted Registered Training Organisation as a contribution towards the cost of services to reduce the cost to participants. Participants are expected to contribute towards the cost of training. The RTO will assess participants’ eligibility for funding and will advise you of the costs you will need to meet.
You’ll need to get in quick as places are limited. The funding period commences annually in October.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR FUNDING CONTRACTS
MAC Training Solutions delivers funded training and assessment services under three different funding contracts. The following outlines the eligibility criteria for each of the contract types.

Entry Level Training for Apprentices and Trainees to Achieve a Nationally Recognised Qualification
The User Choice program provides funding for the delivery of accredited, structured, training for apprentices and trainees to achieve a nationally-recognised qualification. The program works in conjunction with the Commonwealth Australian Apprenticeships System, under which apprentices and trainees enter into legally binding training contracts with their employers.
